- One of our favorite Shenandoah Valley wineries in Virginia – which also happens to be reasonably close to us – is Rockbridge Vineyards and Brewery. We send our guests here often, as not only are their award-winning wines (and beer!) delicious, but they usually have live music and other fun events. They also host a couple of festivals in October that promise to be fantastic fun!
- Another popular choice for wine tasting in the Shenandoah Valley is Ecco Adesso Vineyards in Fairfax, just seven miles from our Bed and Breakfast in Virginia. This popular spot has a delicious selection of Tuscan-style wines and ciders, making it a fantastic place to stop and enjoy a fall afternoon.
- In nearby Lexington, you’ll find another of our favorite Shenandoah Valley wineries in Virginia: Jump Mountain Winery. Considered one of the hidden gems among wineries in Virginia, Jump Mountain Winery showcases distinctive estate-grown wines in a tasting room offering sensational views of the surrounding scenery.
- Barren Ridge Vineyards in Fishersville is a family-owned operation. Each of their wines is unique and beautifully showcases the distinct terroir of the valley it calls home.
- Crosskeys Vineyards near Harrisonburg is one of the best Shenandoah Valley wineries in Virginia. Their Tuscan-style wines are delicious, and their tasting room offers panoramic views of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a great place to enjoy a tasting in the fall!
