Located in western Virginia, our Shenandoah Valley B&B is a relaxing modern alternative to lodging at typical hotels and unknown short-term rental properties. For travelers not familiar with the area we can provide recommendations and assistance to ensure your experience is everything you desire.
Our five bedrooms with original pine wood floors include two queen bed suites with adjoining sitting rooms and three king bedrooms. All rooms have central air and heat with ceiling fans and include either a gas or electric fireplace. Flat-screen TVs with HD satellite service and DVD players and secured Wi-Fi service are provided so you can keep you in touch with the outside world. Daily housekeeping service, as well luxurious robes and hair dryers, are just a few of the many amenities provided.
Cabernet Franc Room
Six large windows on the east side of the house await you in this second-floor room with a king poster bed. Relax with your feet up on your ottoman while reading a book in front of the electric fireplace. Or sit and enjoy views of our grounds and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background from late Fall to Spring. For your convenience, a mini-fridge is provided in the hall common area. Recently refinished antique pine floors and a new room layout brighten up this beautiful room.
This spacious bathroom features a large double Jacuzzi tub/shower combination. Relax together in the tub or take an enjoyable shower under the rain showerhead.
The Cabernet Franc Room and Viognier Room can be combined and locked off to use together with your family or friends in privacy.
A king-size bed with a gas Franklin Stove awaits you in this second-floor bedroom, located in the northeast corner of the house with a view of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains in the background from late Fall to Spring. Enjoy the warmth of the Franklin Stove and a good book while sitting in this comfortable room. The soft green color walls, pine hardwood floor and grape-themed area rug create a relaxing environment. It’s the perfect way to unwind during vacations or weekend getaways in the Shenandoah Valley, VA! For your convenience a mini fridge is provided in the hall common area.
The newly remodeled bathroom is a luxurious interpretation of a 1920s bathroom. The large walk-in tiled shower boasts dual rain shower-heads and a barn door style sliding glass door. The sink is a large retro console sink set on a chrome base. Fresh paint and chrome fixtures brighten the space, and a comfort height (ADA) toilet completes the bathroom.
The Viognier Room and Cabernet Franc Room can be combined and locked off to use together with your family or friends in privacy.
Named for the Shenandoah Valley, this spacious, light-filled room at our romantic Virginia bed & breakfast inn features a king sleigh bed in the northwest corner on the second floor. This second-floor double Jacuzzi suite at Steeles Tavern Manor is perfect for Blue Ridge Mountain getaways in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Decorated with photographs of Lexington, this cozy accommodation includes a queen-size bed, Franklin Stove, and a separate sitting room. Located in the southwest corner of the manor, this room overlooks our pond and rolling pasture.
The spacious sitting room includes two comfortable wing back chairs for relaxing while you read your favorite book.

The Staunton Suite is named after the Queen City, which is a short drive north of Steeles Tavern. Photographs decorating the suite are of sites in this charming town. A queen sleigh bed awaits you in this ground-floor suite with views of the pond and pasture.
The original oak wood floor is accented with grape-themed area rugs in the bedroom and sitting rooms. The cozy sitting room has a corner electric fireplace along with two comfortable chairs plus a mini refrigerator stocked with waters and sodas.
Step into your private bathroom and you step into luxury. The 5-foot glass shower is equipped with 2 shower-heads, one being a 10-inch rain shower-head spraying water down from the ceiling. Also, there are separate sinks, so you don’t have to share!
This beautiful room is a great choice for guests who’d prefer not to walk upstairs to our other guest rooms.
