The Cabernet Franc Room and Viognier Room can be combined and locked off to use together with your family or friends in privacy.

The property of the B&B was very nice and the interior was beautifully decorated and inviting. There were nice little touches throughout our stay like the delicious homemade cookies to welcome us, the Keurig machine for coffee/tea/cocoa any time of day, the basket of snacks, and the fridge with water and soda. My husband and I stayed in the Cab Franc room. All of the amenities made our "couples getaway" very romantic. We enjoyed the robes, fireplace, comfy bed, and jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is a luxurious interpretation of a 1920s bathroom.  The large walk-in tiled shower boasts dual rain shower heads and a barn door-style sliding glass door.  The sink is a large retro console sink set on a chrome base. Fresh paint and chrome fixtures brighten the space, and a comfortable height (ADA) toilet completes the bathroom.

The Viognier Room and Cabernet Franc Room can be combined and locked off to use together with your family or couples traveling together.

SUCH a great weekend! Had a girl’s getaway with 2 rooms - Cab Franc and Viognier, which was fantastic because they had an outer door creating a private feel. We felt so pampered and relaxed on our getaway from our husbands! Spent a whole day poolside moving at a slow pace and another day in town at Staunton. The FOOD and the POOL and the FIRE PIT! The breakfasts were AMAZING. The property was beautiful, Dana & Trey were unbelievable, and there were cats outside if you're lucky enough to see them! One of the best bed and breakfast experiences I have ever had.

Room 3, The Shenandoah Room

Named for the Shenandoah Valley, this spacious, light-filled room at our romantic Virginia bed & breakfast features a king sleigh bed in the northwest corner on the second floor. After a day of exploring the area, sit and relax with a good book or glass of wine while enjoying the peace and quiet. The beautiful original dark-stained pine floor and vintage area rug complement this beautiful room. For your convenience a mini fridge is provided in your room.

The spacious bath features a large double Jacuzzi tub/shower combination. Relax together in the tub or take an enjoyable shower under the rain shower-head.

Stayed at the main house in the Shenandoah Room - a very comfortable room with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The bathroom was nice with a jacuzzi tube for post-hike relaxing - Dana and Trey were great hosts, giving us info on multiple options for wineries (12 Ridges is worth the drive, and the view is excellent), antiques and local eateries.

We Hiked Crab Tree Falls with a picnic from Dana, which was delicious. Excellent breakfast (have Trey make you a latte!) served at 8:30 so you can get the day going - grounds were lovely, lots of room to stretch your legs or relax on the porch - will definitely be back to visit again.

In all our travels, this was the best Couples Getaway in Virginia that we have found. Really a great spot to slow down and reconnect.

My husband and I highly recommend Steeles Tavern Manor as the best Bed and Breakfast in Virginia, and look forward to returning.

As this is our only ground floor room, it is a great choice for guests who’d prefer not to walk upstairs to our other guest rooms.

We stayed at Steeles Tavern Manor for my husband’s birthday trip. Dana and Trey, the owners, were more than gracious. Everything was top-notch and amazing. Our room was the Staunton Suite...very lovely. They have a happy hour for the guests and a wonderful swimming pool. Dana is a wonderful cook, and Trey does a wonderful job of keeping the property beautiful. They will go above and beyond to make your visit memorable.

We took a lovely drive to Crab Tree Falls and did the short hike. You can get a packed lunch made for you! All in all this has been the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had.
