Guest Health & Safety
On May 22 we reopened the Manor to guests, and we wanted to let you know what we are doing here at Steeles Tavern Manor to support you and your travel plans. Our cabins have remained open and are still available for rent as well.
On June 5, Virginia entered “Phase 2” of reopening businesses in the state. This will allow restaurants to reopen, albeit at reduced occupancy, and increases the the allowable size of social gatherings from 10 to 50 people.
-So that we can comply with the state mask order, guests are required to wear masks at check in and when in indoor spaces shared with other guests.
– To adhere to social distancing protocol, we will host Social Hour outside weather permitting, In inclement weather we will not have Social Hour.
-To limit the number of guests in the dining area we are not offering cabin guests the option of having breakfast in the Manor.
-We are modifying our breakfast and snack procedures to reduce the amount of self service items available.
-For breakfast, guests will continue to have individual tables for two, and we will separate guest tables a minimum of six feet. We also have outdoor dining available (weather permitting) on our screened porch.
-Multiple times throughout the day we are disinfecting high touch areas in our common areas. We are increasing the use and availability of hand sanitizer throughout the Manor.
-We will continue our practice of rigorous kitchen, laundry and housekeeping operations.
Your well being is, as it has always been, our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
