May/August: Quarterly Teas
Hours are from 1-3pm. Tea and small bites luncheon. Open to the public but if you reserve a room for the night you get a 10% discount. May 2 Tea is for Mother’s Day, cost is $55/person with a limit of 20 people.
The August 8th Tea will be held outside and menu will revolve around fresh items from the garden as well as our local farm. Think best of summer goodness in the valley along with a tea tasting. August is $55/person and held outdoors near the Pond.
August 21-22 is our Summer Canning and Preserving weekend. Friday Evening starts with an outdoor Welcome Reception in the garden with wine and appetizers. Saturday starts with a local farm tour followed by a water bath canning class where we will learn to make pickles, relish, and salsa. Guests will take home a jar of each item made from the class. Sunday will conclude with breakfast incorporating the previous day’s salsa into a southwestern style breakfast.
This canning experience weekend will cost $175 in addition to the cost of the room and includes the welcome reception, class, and farm tour.
