I haven’t blogged in several months but we are still here. We have been so busy with renovations and preparing for our opening of the B&B. Our Open House is this weekend – June 9, 10, and 11. And we are on target to open the B&B in July.
We are finally opening the doors and showing everyone what we have been doing the last several months. And I thought I would give you a sneak preview of the newly renovated Steeles Tavern Manor B&B.
It is a 5 room B&B which includes 2 Queen Suites and 3 King bedrooms all with private baths and the same modern amenities as the Cottages. We are located on Route 11 on the same 50 acres as the cottages. Our B&B has a wine theme with each room named after a wine varietal that is native to Virginia.
Our guests will enjoy a hearty plated breakfast made with fresh, local products. Cottage guests will be able to enjoy breakfast at the B&B for an additional fee.
We will have an early evening social hour at our wine bar serving complimentary wine and snack or light appetizers. The social hour is open to the cottage guests as well.
Our large in-ground pool and pool area will be available to all guests – B&B and cottage.
Along with our Open House this weekend will be having an estate sale. Any items that we have decided not to use in the B&B will be available for sale starting Saturday June 9. If you are in the area this weekend then please stop by to see us!
