There may be plenty of things to do in the Shenandoah Valley, but you can’t have a memorable vacation without great lodging. Whether you’re looking for a home base for outdoor adventures aplenty or a relaxing place to unplug and destress, our cabins in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley are hard to beat.
To start, our cabins are spread out on our gorgeous 50-acre property, offering unique vantage points of our property and beautiful surroundings and giving you the privacy you crave in a cabin getaway. We’ve added two newer cabins to our property in recent years, bringing our total to five luxury cabins, unlike any others in the state. Each of our cabins features a thoughtful range of amenities and everything you need for a memorable getaway.
Inside each cabin, you’ll find comfortable, well-dressed king-sized beds, large, spa-like bathrooms, comfortable living rooms with fireplaces, high-speed internet, and a well-equipped full kitchen. Outside, there are decks and porches to enjoy, which also have gas grills for your exclusive use. Each cabin also comes with its own private hot tub to enjoy, which is an exceptional place to enjoy the dark night skies of the Shenandoah Valley.
In addition to these amenities in each of our cabins in Virginia, guests will also have access to several property amenities, including an inground seasonal pool, a fire pit, a tranquil fishing pond, peaceful sitting areas, and a walking trail along Marl Creek. We make enjoying your time at our Virginia cabins easy with our packages, too. We offer a “breakfast like a local” package that includes everything you need for a delicious breakfast for two, or a “grill your own steak” dinner package that consists of a steak and all the fixins for a delightful dinner for two – leaving you more time to relax, unwind, and enjoy your time at the cabins.

- Head to the North Rockbridge Trail and discover many of the Shenandoah Valley’s hidden gems, including farms, artisans, wineries, and more.
- Visit nearby local farms and get a taste of the rich agricultural heritage of the Shenandoah Valley. Places to visit include Cyrus McCormick Farm, Wade’s Mill, Verdant Acres, and Ridge Valley Alpacas.
- Speaking of getting a taste of the Valley, how about a little wine tasting? There are plenty of great wineries in the Shenandoah Valley, but one of our long-time favorites is Rockbridge Vineyard.
- Get out for a hike! There are so many fantastic places to enjoy some hiking in the area, including, of course, Shenandoah National Park. Other local favorites include St. Mary’s Wilderness and Natural Bridge State Park.
- Chase waterfalls! There are dozens of waterfalls from the north in Shenandoah National Park south throughout the Blue Ridge Parkway. One of our local favorites, though, is Crabtree Falls.
- Go boating on the James River or Maury River. These relatively calm, flat waters are great for kayaking, canoeing, and tubing.
- Take a break from the outdoors and embrace the area’s artistic culture! One of our favorite spots to visit is Sunspots Glass Blowing. Other galleries worth visiting include Artists in Cahoots, Nelson Fine Art Gallery, Cabell Gallery, and Earth, Fire, and Spirit Pottery.
- Take in a performance at the legendary American Shakespeare Theater.
- One of the top things to do in the Shenandoah Valley is learn about the area’s rich history. You can do this at places like the Brownsburg Museum, Virginia Military Institute, and downtown Lexington and Staunton. Other great historical sites include the Frontier Culture Museum, the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Museum, and the Stonewall Jackson House Museum.
- There’s also some great antiquing in the Shenandoah Valley! Just four minutes from us is 3 Seasons Antiques, but we also recommend you head to the Factory Antique Mall. It’s the largest antique mall in the country!
- Take a scenic drive through the area. It’s one of the most beautiful things to do in the Shenandoah Valley in the summer, but it’s positively magical when fall foliage appears on the ridges and mountaintops! The two best drives in the Shenandoah Valley are Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway, which are within easy reach of our Shenandoah Valley Cabins.
- Stargaze at one of the most scenic parks in the country. Natural Bridge State Park is a designated Dark Sky Park, which means it’s free from light pollution and offers visitors an unprecedented opportunity for stargazing.
