Policies
GENERAL
- We are an adult only property. All guests must be 18 years or older. The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pets are not permitted on the property, with the exception of our dog-friendly Pond View Cabin. Please note that we have 2 outdoor (and very friendly!) cats on the property. They have free range access to the grounds, but not inside the Manor guest areas.
- Candles and open flames are not permitted anywhere on the property or in the cabins or Manor.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the Manor or cabins, on any decks or inside the pool area. Guests are permitted to smoke outdoors.
Manor Arrival: Between 4-9 PM. After 9 PM is gladly accommodated with advance notice. Please see our Early Arrival policy below.
Manor Departure: 11 AM
CABIN ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:
Cabin Arrival: Any time after 4 PM. Cabins are self check in, and you will receive an email with cabin directions and door codes prior to your arrival. Please see our Early Arrival policy below.
Cabin Departure: 12 noon
Early Arrival Manor and Cabins
We want your first impression to be a great one, and it takes our team every minute to assist guests staying through, prepare your room, the property, and take care of the many tasks to make sure we’re ready for you. Please call first before arriving early to see if we can accommodate you. If we are able to accept an early arrival there is a $25/hour charge that will be added to your bill. This fee applies to early access to the property, grounds, and other facilities, as well as your room/cabin. Thanks for understanding!
PAYMENTS
At time of reservation, you will be charged in full for a one night stay or 50% of the total for two or more nights. You will be charged the balance two weeks prior to your check in date (30 days for October) .
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please inform us at least 15 days before your arrival date (31 days for the month of October). We will issue you a full refund less a cancellation fee per room or cabin.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 15 days notice (31 days for October) please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.
Unfortunately, we can not make changes to your reservation, including moving the date and/or a reduction of nights, within this cancellation window.
For groups or individuals reserving three or more rooms or cabins there is a 31 day notification period for cancellations/changes.
All reservations during VMI and W&L parents weekends and graduations are non cancellable.
Any change to an existing reservation is subject to a fee equal to the cancellation fee for that reservation.
The cancellation fee is 5% of the reservation total ($50 min. per room).
FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION PLAN
Sometimes life throws us a curve ball and plans must be changed, so we’re now offering a flexible cancellation plan. If you need to cancel up to 48 hours prior to check in time, you get a full refund of your deposit less cancellation fee of 15% of the reservation amount. Payment of the full value of your reservation is required in advance for this plan using a Credit or Debit Card. If you cancel your reservation less than 48 hours prior to check in you are responsible for the full amount of the reservation. You may be responsible for packages/items ordered if we have already purchased them.
The Flexible Cancellation Plan is not available if the check in date is within 30 days of making the reservation, nor is not available for one night stays, group reservations, or VMI and W&L parents weekends and graduations.
VISITORS/NON REGISTERED GUESTS
The Manor, cabins, and grounds are for the exclusive use of registered guests. Visitors are only permitted with our express permission.
PETS
Dogs are welcome in our Pond View Cabin for a fee of $30 per night per dog.
A maximum of two dogs (minimum of 6 months old, max weight of 60 lbs) are allowed.
