At Steeles Tavern Manor B&B and Alpine Hideaway Cottages, you can enjoy a private getaway while taking in a gorgeous view of the Shenandoah Valley. Two of our Alpine Hideaway Cottages are set atop the highest point in the Shenandoah Valley so the view is awesome. They are surrounded by trees so you feel secluded in your luxurious cottage.
A long, country lane leads up the ridge to the Ivy Cottage and the Sunset Cottage. You may be greeted by some black angus cattle grazing in the pastures that you pass along the way. When you arrive at your private cottage, chairs and a glider on the front porch invite you to settle in to watch the sunset over the Shenandoah Valley. There is also a grill on the front porch where you can cook your own steak, stay in for the night, and relax in the privacy of the cabin. You may catch a glimpse of a deer and her fawn emerging from the woods at dusk. The back deck is open to the night sky. On a clear night, watch the stars twinkle overhead while relaxing in your private hot tub.
The cottages are designed with privacy and romance in mind. Each cottage has a king size bed dressed in luxurious linens. The bathroom boasts a double Jacuzzi tub and robes are provided for a quick cover-up. The lightly stocked full kitchen means that, if you bring your own food supplies, you don’t have to leave the cottage until check-out time.
You have several options for your breakfast in one of our hill-top cabins. Bring your own breakfast food items and make your own special breakfast dish. Make your own breakfast but allow us to provide all the ingredients produced by our favorite local vendors. Our “Eat Breakfast Like a Local” Package is $40 per couple. Or, you can enjoy a full, hot breakfast in the Manor House for an additional fee of $30 for two people. If you want to sleep in and just relax, a breakfast basket will be delivered to your door at 9:15am. The basket will be filled with our homemade granola, yogurt, juice, milk, fresh fruit, coffee cake or muffins, and specialty coffee – including our signature mugs. This option comes to you for an added fee of $25 per couple.
